In the Summer of 2018, I had the pleasure of contributing to Waymo's ambitious self driving efforts. I was responsible for developing firmware for future sensors and infrastructural software to help my team save time.

In the Winter of 2018, I worked with the cutting edge Localization and Mapping team at Avidbots. I developed systems to evaluate the localization performance or their flagship product, the Neo floor scrubbing robot. I also worked on improving the systems performance by recommending and integrating a new inertial sensor.

Nest

Embedded Software Engineering Intern

Over the summer of 2017, I worked on the Nest Guard home security product. I joined on the tail end of the product development cycle which gave me the opportunity to understand what goes into successfully shipping a product. I was fortunate to work on the in-store demo accompanying the product which is now in stores across the US. I also wrote software to report vital systems statictics and a dashboard to visualize that data.

CrossWing

Robotics Specialist

In the Fall of 2016, I worked with CrossWing on improving their virtualMe holonomic base. I designed and built an obstacle avoidance system consisting of an array of sonar sensors. This was to assist remote users during teleoperation and served as their first step towards full autonomy.
